What is Texas Cru?

The University of Texas was established in 1883. Texas Cru was established in 1959. For over sixty years, we’ve been on this campus with a purpose- to make disciples that make other disciples for Christ.

We want each person at UT to have a chance to hear and experience the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. We help students sink their roots deep in Scripture, love Jesus Christ more fully, and love their neighbors in tangible service.

We motivate and equip students to reach their generation, both in Austin and around the world.

Jesus tells his followers a powerful message: “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” We are developing laborers on the University of Texas campus for God’s worldwide harvest. Be a part of changing the world with us!
